Ch-Changes
My review on The Posies show at Nadamucho.com. No, I didn’t pick the title. Yes, it was heavily edited. I’m finding that I’m more a storyteller who has to set the scene; I don’t enjoy sound bites. But I be learnin’. Looking forward to reviewing the Monday shows at Sasquatch — MGMT and Ween, yo. WEEN!
Thanks to some nagging on the part of two readers, I’ve changed my About page. I’m not going to link to it, because I changed it under duress, but I guess email whining is effective with me. This does not mean I care to hear your whining, however.
My contract has ended with Navigating Cancer, and I wish them tons of luck! While I’m sad to leave such a great team of people, I’m excited for this summer and what it holds for us. For those of you concerned about But how will you pay for crack?!, I’m happy to be working more with two businesses in my neighborhood. It’s nice (not to mention convenient) having our entire life out here in West Seattle.
My birthday approaches, this Friday, and Armageddon with it. The Esq is surprising me with something all day, which is — as my girlfriends put it — “romantic, sweet, awesome and exciting.” I totally agree, except I am also a micro-managing control freak who only thinks she enjoys surprises. In real life, it’s like a mental puzzle made of razor blades and ether. It drives me totally bonkers.
NO WAY! I didn’t think they were still out-n-about, Ween. Cheers to “Freedom of ’76.”
